Free Tutoring
The college provides free tutoring to all enrolled students. Tutoring is conducted by both professional and peer tutors who have been trained and are ready to assist you in any classes in which you are experiencing difficulty.
The Academic Support Center (Room G205 on the main campus) is staffed by professional tutors prepared to assist you with assignments and challenging course material. Please consult the schedule and drop by to talk with our Writing and STEM tutors about an assignment and how to improve your grades! For questions, please call the ASC at 828-766-1003 or email academicsupport@mayland.edu. Walk-ins are welcome, but you may also schedule an in-person or online appointment via phonecall or email.

NetTutor is a Free Live Online Tutoring Service. It offers 24/7 assistance for English, Math, and Paper Writing (upload a draft and get it back with improvement suggestions). Many other subjects are offered according to the NetTutor Live Tutoring Schedule.
Direct Access to Free Online Tutoring links only work when you logged into Moodle. There is also a Free Online Tutoring via NetTutor link in the footer of every Moodle course. Please give it a try and see for yourself.
